Armenia s caretaker FM holds phone call with his French counterpart
Acting Foreign Minister of Armenia Ara Aivazian on Sunday held a telephone conversation with French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian, the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry reported.
The conversation focused on the situation in Armenia’s border regions following the incursion of the Azerbaijani military into Armenian territory and the steps being taken to ease the tensions. In this regard, Aivazian highly appreciated France s principled position on the inadmissibility of Azerbaijan s encroachments on the sovereign territory of Armenia.
The officials also reflected on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, highlighting the active role of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs.
Armenia’s Aivazian to attend meeting of CSTO Council of Foreign Ministers
Acting Foreign Minister of Armenia Ara Aivazian will take part in the meeting of the CSTO Council of Foreign Ministers.
The Armenian Foreign Ministry reports that the CSTO meeting will be held in Dushanbe on May 19.

In an interview with AzTV, President Ilham Aliyev said:
“The creation of the Zangezur corridor fully meets our national, historical and future interests. We are implementing the Zangezur Corridor, whether Armenia wants it or not. If Armenia wants it, then the issue will be resolved easier, if it does not want it, we will decide it by force. Just as before and during the war, I said that they must leave our lands, or we will expel them by force. And so it happened. The same will be the fate of the Zangezur corridor.

Armenia’s caretaker FM holds phone call with CSTO chief, Council of Foreign Ministers head
In continuation of the discussions held in recent days, Armenia’s caretaker Foreign Minister Ara Aivazian on Saturday held a telephone conversation with CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas and Chairman of the CSTO Council of Foreign Ministers, Tajik Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Mukhriddin, the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry reported.
The discussions started after the Azerbaijani troops incursion into Armenian territory on May 12.
