Despite the arrangement achieved in advance the Azerbaijani side did not come to negotiations scheduled for May 19, at 2pm, Armenia’s Ministry of Defense reports. It has been reported earlier that negotiations are ongoing to settle the situation which arose as a result of provocation of Azerbaijani armed forces on Armenian-Azerbaijani border.

The Ministry of Defense highlights the need of peaceful settlement of the issue and highly assesses the efforts of different countries and international structures in that direction. The negotiations launched from May 14 are still ongoing.
