The California Highway Patrol announced Tuesday evening that the police have located the two-year-old boy who was abducted by his father, who was on the run in connection with a murder.

LOS ANGELES (KUSI) – A Lake Elsinore man suspected of killing his girlfriend and abducting their 2-year-old son was taken into custody Tuesday in Las Vegas.
Celestine John Stoot Jr., 42, had last been seen Monday, when Riverside County sheriff’s investigators allege that he killed Natasha Denise Barlow of San Jacinto.
According to sheriff’s Sgt. Deanna Pecoraro, the attack occurred Monday afternoon at a residence in the 17000 block of Hayes Avenue in Lake Elsinore.
Pecoraro said patrol deputies were called to the location to investigate reports of a death and found the 43-year-old woman inside the home. The exact cause of Barlow’s death was not specified, and there was no mention of a possible motive.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA A 2-year-old child has been reported missing in Lake Elsinore, and the sheriff s department suspects his father abducted him and killed a person in the area.
An Amber Alert was issued Sunday evening for Celestine Stoot III who was last seen July 4 with his father, Celestine Stoot Jr., 31. The man is considered armed and dangerous, according to the Riverside County Sheriff s Department.
Shortly after 8 p.m. Sunday, the sheriff s department provided an update and said the man is wanted in connection with a homicide that occurred in the Lake Elsinore area. No details were provided about the killing.

The Amber Alert was issued in Riverside, Los Angeles, San Diego, Orange, Imperial and San Bernardino Counties on behalf of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department (RCSD).
Mobile alerts were not sent out because the CHP didn t want to alert people across six counties, but said notifications could be sent if they narrow the suspect s location to a smaller area.
