Fourteen days after the second dose (Moderna/Pfizer) or 14 days after the shot of Johnson & Johnson.
If you are fully vaccinated, should you still get tested for COVID-19? If so, how often?
You should consider getting tested if you have been exposed to someone who is COVID-19 positive and you are showing symptoms of COVID.
If you have already received your first dose of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine, why should you get your second dose?
Both the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines are designed as a two-shot regimen. Two weeks after the second shot, you are 90% to 95% covered from COVID-19.

Appointments are no longer required to receive the COVID-19 vaccine at clinics operated by the Riverside County public health department.
While registration is encouraged, it is not required, according to a message that appeared on the department s vaccine website Thursday.
County spokesperson Jose Arballo Jr. told The Desert Sun in an email that the change applies to county-run clinics. This includes sites in Beaumont, Hemet, Menifee and Moreno Valley. The four county-operated sites have opened to walk-ins many times in the last few weeks as appointment slots remained unfilled.
The change also applies to the county s
