29% of areas in Labasa now have power supply

Energy Fiji Limited teams have managed to restore power to almost 29% of areas in Labasa.
They have also managed to restore power to 2% of areas in Dreketi and Seaqaqa while 77% of areas in Savusavu have had their power supply restored.
According to the tentative timeline by EFL, it could take at least till the end of this month for power supply to be fully restored in Vanua Levu.

Situation Overview
Essential Services continue to be restored in affected areas. Energy Fiji Limited (EFL) is making steady progress restoring electricity in cyclone-hit areas. This also allows a daily improvement of connectivity of Telecom Fiji Limited (TFL).

A fault has caused a disruption to power supply which is affecting Energy Fiji Limited customers in the whole of Viti Levu.
“Our team is working on the fault and will restore power at the earliest. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused,” EFL said in a statement.

Energy Fiji Limited is yet to fully restore power supply in most parts of the Northern Division.
According to an update by EFL last night, the whole of Dreketi and Seaqaqa is without power supply.
Labasa and Savusavu has eight percent areas in which power supply has been restored.
Power supply is fully restored in all areas in Taveuni.
Ovalau has 60 power supply restored while Rakiraki in Viti Levu has 70 areas where power supply has been restored.
EFl has said its priority areas are mentioned in order as major Hospitals and Health Centres, Water Pumping Stations, Water and Sewerage Treatment Plants, Central Business Districts, Commercial and Industrial Areas and Residental Aras.
