Lima man charged with rape, attempted murder Collins LIMA A Lima man charged with rape and attempted murder in connection with an attack in May against a female is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday morning in Allen County Common Pleas Court. Donald Collins III, 35, was indicted earlier this month by an Allen County grand jury on seven felony counts, including two counts each of rape and kidnapping, along with single counts of attempted murder and aggravated burglary, all felonies of the first degree, and a second-degree felony count of felonious assault. The charges allege that on or about May 19 Collins did purposely compel the woman to submit to sexual conduct by force of threat of force, did cause the woman to suffer physical harm and did attempt to purposely cause her death.

Grand jury will consider charges in downtown Lima stabbings By J Swygart Bond remained set at $100,000 for Antonio McNeal, 37, of Lima, who is charged with felonious assault in connection with the July 9 stabbing.
