David Mulcahy of 1929 Development Inc., owns the land at 157 North Main St. and hopes to expand his business, oh DEER South Shore on his property.

CARVER – When voters are asked to approve the proposed $24.6 million fiscal 2022 school budget at Town Meeting, the proposal will be based on a full in-person return at both Carver Elementary and Carver Middle High Schools.
School officials will hold a public hearing on the school budget at 7 p.m. Monday, March 8, by Zoom call following presentations to the School Committee last week and the Finance Committee Monday night.
The $24.6 million operating budget in line with the school budget proposed by the town takes into account one-time offsets and revolving accounts. Chief Operations and Finance Officer Ron Griffin said the good news is that two new funding sources will cover one-time costs, if only for one year.
