The City of Las Cruces will issue a proclamation declaring next week, April 18-24, 2021, as Native Plant Week (it’s Earth Day week as well.) Stachera-Simon says she and Joan Woodward of Native Plant Society of Las Cruces co-submitted the proclamation to Las Cruces City Councilors Gill Sorg and Tessa Abeyta Stuve.
