He said: It s always tricky to make a remake but on the other hand I understand why. Because even though a lot of people might watch [the original], it s not that big. Having said that I have a hunch that a lot of Americans [have] watched this one. So it s going to be interesting, the remake. Her episode premieres tomorrow (Sunday, May 16). ITV I ended up losing everything, including myself, she shares. That was the main thing. So I went to a rehab. They helped me figure out why I was doing what I was doing.
Alicya adds: It was the best and the worst three months of my life, if I m being honest. I was a bit scared of going to rehab and people knowing who I am. I think that s why I put it off, and I did put it off for quite a long time simply for that reason.
Emmerdale s Vinny walks out on Liv after Paul death revelation
Will Liv and Vinny get through this together?
Emmerdale aired sad scenes on Thursday (May 13) night when Vinny Dingle walked out on Liv Flaherty after she revealed details about Paul Ashdale s death.
As Liv (Isobel Steele) got ready for baby Frankie s christening, Vinny (Bradley Johnson) opened up to her about how he was coping with his father Paul s (Reece Dinsdale) death. Liv dismissed Vinny s feelings and his concern grew for her wellbeing.
Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh) saw Liv wander away from the church and decided to follow her. She spoke to Liv about Paul, but when she left Liv picked up a bottle of alcohol and began to drink.
I don t think she did anything wrong though. She wouldn t have got out alive and she didn t have the strength to take Paul out, so they both would have died anyway. But it s all of the what ifs? Liv is unable to see clearly what actually happened.
Meanwhile, Isobel also recalled the audience reaction to the recent big stunt episode, saying: The reaction was really good actually. I don t think anyone could tell that we d done it during COVID and I couldn t tell when I was watching it. We got a great response and everyone likes justice being served, as do I. People enjoyed seeing the end of that chapter but they also seem excited to see the aftermath.
