Man caught drink driving is banned from roads A VILLAGER has been banned for being nearly three times the driving alcohol limit. Neil Thomas Ventham, 46, was stopped by officers on Petersfield Road, Monkwood, near Ropley, on September 26 last year, a court heard. His alcohol reading was 103 micrograms in 100 millilitres of breath when the legal limit is 35. Ventham, who was driving a 54-reg Mitsubishi Warrior, denied the allegation but was convicted after a trial at Aldershot Magistrates Court on Friday January 8. Ventham, of Bighton Road, Bighton, near Alresford, was disqualified for 18 months, with the ban reduced by 18 weeks if a course is completed.
