The budget for 2021-22 has been approved by the Northwest State Community College board of trustees at their meeting last Friday. Proposed revenues are anticipated at 26.4 million dollars, while expenditures are projected at 26.1 million dollars. The personnel side of the budget accounts for 52% of the spending for the college, an increase of about $788,000 over last year. There is also a hike in partnership costs, including the Van Wert site expansion, with an increase of $305,000 from last year. The Northwest State Community College Board is anticipating an increase in tuition revenue of $580,000; and a bump in public support of $317,000.
Campus president Todd Hernandez reports the expanded Van Wert site will allow for enhanced programs to serve Paulding and Van Wert County residents.
