ALPINE, Calif. (KGTV) - The Alpine Union School District on Wednesday became one of the first school districts in the state to begin administering COVID-19 vaccines to staff.
For the five Pre-K to 8th-grade schools in the district, it s been hybrid in-person learning since September. Deb Burdette is the district s school psychologist. On Wednesday morning, her school day began with a field trip to a health clinic in the East County. I am thrilled. I have been waiting for this day, said Burdette.
