Ashland Times Gazette ASHLAND As COVID-19 vaccine rates have steadily decreased in Ohio, Ashland County health officials say they are seeing a slower decline in vaccination rates.  Vaccination rates nationwide have decreased as more people are getting the shots, though there s a swath of the population that is hesitant to get COVID vaccines. Some of that hesitation came from the pause of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine after reports of six cases of a rare and severe type of blood clot was found in individuals who took it.  Despite the pause, people have been eager to get the Johnson & Johnson vaccine at local COVID-19 clinics, said Mark Rafeld, director of the Ashland County Emergency Management Agency.
