The Perfect Game National showcase brought in more than 300 of the top high school players in the country to Tropicana Field for a six-day showcase from July 13-18. These were the players who showed the best tools in different categories at the event, as well as other notable standouts that should give a good overview of the top high school players to watch for next year s draft.

BRANDON – Reece Arbogast pitched a three-hitter Friday as Renner Post 307 edged Post 8 2-1 in the first round of the Class A State Legion Baseball Tournament at Aspen Park.
Arbogast struck out six while walking only one in outdueling Post 8’s Jack Van Camp, who pitched a four-hitter, allowing two runs and four hits with 10 strikeouts and four walks.
Austin Henry scored the go-ahead run for Renner Post 307 by stealing home in the bottom of the sixth inning. Renner Post 307 had scored first in the fourth inning on a wild pitch by Van Camp. Post 8 (24-18) evened the game in the sixth inning on an RBI double by Maguire Raske, scoring Jayden Wiebe, who had singled.
