Recently, the Australian Institute of Fitness (AIF) collected the insights of some of Australia’s leading sporting experts and released a list of their favourite health and fitness wearables.
In a statement on the survey, the AIF shared that it had assessed a series of smartwatches and sports straps on elements including functionality, user-friendliness, tracking and data capabilities, comfort, form, versatility and overall performance.

An exciting day for SA Police latest police graduates
Today marks an exciting day for the 22 South Australia police graduates of Course 44. They will be sworn in this afternoon at 1pm at the Police Academy.
The graduates are aged between 20 and 40 years and come from a wide range of interesting backgrounds, including serving in the Australian Defence Force and working in protection services. In addition, several hold tertiary qualifications in diverse areas including criminology, marketing, applied science and commerce.
One of the graduates is Brooke, who moved from Mount Gambier to undertake training at the Police Academy. Brooke previously worked on the maternity/paediatric ward at the Mount Gambier Hospital and is motivated by the diversity that a Police Officer role brings. Brooke is looking forward to putting all of her training into practice, especially helping vulnerable children.
