Melbourne’s KIIS 101.1 is giving listeners the chance to predict Jase Hawkin’s incoming co-host through an on-air game of Guess Who.
Kicking off on the station this morning, ‘Co-Host Who?’ will operate in a similar fashion to the classic board game, with listeners ringing into the station to ask questions and try and guess who Polly ‘PJ’ Harding’s replacement will be.
“Rather than just saying the name and bring them into the studio, I’d rather do the commercial radio thing and try drag this out as much as I can,” Hawkins said of the competition.
“To have a bit of fun and announce PJ’s replacement, over the next couple of days I want to play ‘Co-host Who?’

KIIS Melbourne to reveal new Breakfast show tomorrow morning
The Australian Radio Network (ARN) will finally reveal the make-up of its KIIS Melbourne Breakfast show in the 8 o’clock hour tomorrow.
Co-host Polly ‘PJ’ Harding has already moved home to New Zealand, leaving the station on the hunt for a new co-host for Jase Hawkins.
According to the original timeline, Harding’s replacement should have come to light before the most recent survey break, however it was pushed back. ARN said COVID played a role in the blowout, as did an illness in Hawkins’ family.
On today’s podcast, however, Hawkins said tomorrow is the day.

KIIS 101.1 is yet to announce PJ s replacement, but reliable sources tell Daily Mail Australia they are hiring Lauren, who presents Jase & PJ s summer fill-in show.
PJ explained that being separated from her family and fiancé in New Zealand during the Covid-19 pandemic last year had taken a toll.
ARN responds to Kyle’s requests for show to become an iHeart subscription product

In the chat, he also revealed his desires to make the show more multi-platform, and to monetise its content.
He said he’s been speaking to ARN CEO Ciaran Davis and chief content officer Duncan Campbell about it “for five years now”.
“I want that to go through iHeart, and I think that should be a premium, paid-for extra that you don’t get for free,” he said. “We need to keep developing our streaming services.”
He said the show’s video elements on social media already had really good numbers, and given ARN’s long-term association with the iHeart platform, it made sense to exploit this more.
