ABC Radio National announces TOP 5 media residency recipients The ABC has shared the details of this year’s ABC TOP 5 media residencies, giving a number of early-career scholars access to a residency with ABC Radio National to hone their communication skills. Held in partnership with the University of Melbourne and the Australia Council for the Arts, the program, now in its seventh year, will allow for an emerging generation of scholars to share their knowledge and expertise with audiences on the ABC’s airwaves. Chosen from almost 400 applicants from Arts, Humanities and Science streams, each of this year’s five recipients will undertake a two-week online allotment with ABC Radio National, learning how to develop content across radio and digital platforms and communicate technical stories to a broad audience.
