Rising global temperatures and a forecast of warm, dry air this spring after a winter of heavy snow in some areas could significantly increase pollen production. Dr. Gina Lynem-Walker, associate medical director at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, said Michigan ranks in the top 10 states for lifetime prevalence of asthma.
