Fourth day of school closures follows coldest night in a decade  | Updated: 08:41, 11 February 2021 Hundreds of children in West Norfolk and neighbouring districts are facing another day of school closures following a freezing night. Many schools are re-opening this morning following the disruption caused by the freezing weather this week. But 17 schools in our area are either fully or partially closed today, with officials in many areas reporting compacted snow and the very low temperatures are making it too dangerous to open. Temperatures were expected to plunge as low as minus nine overnight, making it the coldest night for up to 10 years.
