A man in his 60s has been taken to hospital after suffering a suspected cardiac arrest.
The East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) was alerted following reports someone was having a cardiac arrest in Lowestoft.
Paramedics from the East of England Ambulance Service Trust and the rapid response vehicle from the air ambulance were called out at 7.19am on Tuesday, February 2.
A spokesman for the air ambulance said: The critical care team from Anglia One was tasked to Lowestoft by rapid response vehicle to assist EEAST with a man in his sixties who suffered a cardiac arrest.

Last year it was revealed that only 15 per cent of ambulances responding to level two emergencies, such as strokes and major burns, arrived within 18 minutes. The results of a Freedom of Information request showed the average response time in the Harwich peninsular was more than double the expected arrival time. An ambulance should be with the patient within 18 minutes of the 999 call being made according to the NHS. The FOI disclosed the average response time in Harwich between November 2019 and January last year was more than 40 minutes.
Joanna was diagnosed with learning difficulties at age three and held back at primary school.
But, said Keith and Jean, she was “a very jovial and happy child”. She loved music, discos and karaoke.
At around 18, she started having seizures. Neurologists discovered she had epilepsy and sleep apnoea. They told her to start using a Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) machine at night.
She responded “marvellously” and “immediately ceased” having seizures in her sleep, they said.
Joanna Bailey was a very jovial and happy child who loved discos and karaoke, said her parents.

But persistent daytime seizures, alongside her learning difficulties, made it impossible for her to work. Craving independence, she moved to a Romford care home, The Grange.
