A spokesman from the Canvey Coastguard, said: While preparing to start one of our regular patrols, the team from Canvey were tasked to the Wat Tyler Country Park Marina to a casualty, who following a jet ski crash had potentially suffered a broken ankle. Due to our state of readiness thecrew were on scene within ten minutes and found the casualty had managed to get himself ashore and onto the floating jetty. As we arrived before the East of England Ambulance Service, the team, alongside our colleagues from Gravesend RNLI and RNLI Southend Lifeboat who were local at the time provided casualty care and pain relief.
