The Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre is tentatively expecting another patient who will be transferred from outside the region to arrive on Friday, the hospital's COVID-19 incident manager said.

THUNDER BAY Thunder Bay Police say a man sustained serious injuries from a suspected early morning Northwood assault.
Police on Friday morning continued to hold the scene outside of a public housing complex unit near the intersection of Limbrick Street and Redwood Avenue, with yellow police tape circling an area of sidewalk next to the building and adjacent to the parking lot.
According to a release issued by police, officers were called to the scene just before 3 a.m. on Friday, told there was an injured male on scene. The victim was located and sent to Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre for treatment and further evaluation of his injuries.
