The Northwestern Health Unit is reporting five new positive cases of COVID-19 today.
Unlike previous days the Tuesday case count is spread out across the region.
There are two cases in the Sioux Lookout region, one in Dryden/Red Lake, one in the District of Rainy River and one in the Kenora area.
There is also a probable case in the Kenora region.
There are now 74 active and 8 probable cases.
Sixty-six are in the Kenora area, four in the Sioux Lookout district and two each in Dryden/Red Lake and the Rainy River areas.
The test positivity rate from February 1-7 was 3.24% and it currently stands at 0.53% since the start of the pandemic.

Stella Page, age 92, passed away peacefully at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on February 2, 2021. She will be remembered as a kind and loving person devoted to her family and friends. She lived an honest and spiritual life that valued grace and dignity for all.
She enjoyed her time cooking wonderful meals, watching sports, especially curling and hockey (Leafs fan), reading and focusing on her family. Thunder Bay was her home.
Born to Jesse and William Manryk (Westfort area). She was raised in her Ukrainian language and spoke fluently in her earlier days. The youngest of four children – brothers Ted, Ross and Bill. All predeceased. Raised in the great depression, she left high school in Grade 11 to attend Kings Business College.
