An Anaheim elementary school teacher was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of possessing child pornography, police said.
Joseph Williams Page, 39, was taken into custody while he was at Guinn Elementary School in Anaheim, where he teaches sixth grade, according to Sgt. Shane Carringer of the Anaheim Police Department.
Page was booked into the Anaheim jail, and bail was set at $25,000, Carringer said. He was transferred to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department and released on bond early Thursday.
The case has not yet been forwarded to the Orange County district attorney’s office, D.A. spokeswoman Kimberly Edds said.

SHIAWASSEE COUNTY, MI - Michigan State Police have arrested and charged a 51-year-old Perry man for “aggravated” possession of child pornography, according to a news release sent Monday, May 17, from the department’s Computer Crimes Unit and Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
Police arrested Brian Scott Johnson after seizing digital evidence from his home during an investigation, according to the release. Police started investigating Johnson after learning he was sharing child sex material on the internet.
After executing the search warrant, Johnson was charged with three counts of “aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material” and three counts of using a computer to commit a crime. He was arraigned Thursday, May 13 in the 66th District Court, according to the release.
