Indianapolis police are investigating a shooting Saturday afternoon that left two people injured on the city s northwest side.
IMPD officers responded to the 900 block of West Roache Street near Taggart Riverside Park after receiving a report of a person shot, according to police. They found two people with what appeared to be gunshot wounds.
Both people were taken to local hospitals where one is in serious condition and the other is in stable condition, police said.

Indianapolis police are asking the public’s help finding a 40-year-old man last seen on the city’s east side.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said Tuesday that Victor Johnson was last seen April 1 near the intersection of New York Street and Bancroft Street. Police described Johnson as standing 6 feet and 4 inches tall, with black hair and brown eyes.
Police said he may need medical attention due to seizures that cause memory loss.
Anyone with information about Johnson’s location is asked to contact IMPD’s Missing Persons Unit at 317-327-6160 or Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana at 317-262-8477.
