Oregon Shooter Arrested In Indianapolis
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) The suspect in a Feb. 28 shooting in Portland, Oregon, was arrested in Indianapolis on Wednesday, the Portland Police Bureau said Friday.
Dominique Green, 28, was identified as the suspect in a shooting that left an adult male with multiple gunshot wounds that were not life-threatening, police say. An arrest warrant for attempted murder, assault and unlawful use of a weapon was issued.
Detectives learned Green had likely fled to Indianapolis and worked with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit to arrest him around 4:45 p.m., according to police.
Green will be extradited back to Oregon.

COLUMBUS, Ind. – Columbus Police Department (CPD) SWAT members, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department Violent Crimes Unit, the Indiana Department of Corrections, and the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office arrested a wanted man for a weapons violation parole warrant in Bartholomew County on Thursday.
CPD SWAT went to a house in the 12800 block of West County Road 525S to serve and Indiana Parole Warrant at 2:30 p.m. Officers say the wanted man, Jimmy Jones, 46, was taken into custody without incident.
Jones was on parole for weapons charges and attempted murder for the 1993 shooting of an Indianapolis Police Department officer.
