A case has been filed against filmmaker-actor Mahesh Manjrekar for allegedly slapping and abusing a man in Pune.
According to the case registered against Mahesh Manjrekar, the incident took place on Friday night near Yavat village on Pune-Solapur highway.
The complainant, Kailas Satpute, had alleged that his vehicle hit Mahesh Manjrekar s car from behind after the filmmaker applied sudden brakes. After this, Manjrekar then stepped out of his car and both of them had an argument, following which Manjrekar slapped and abused him. He later filed a police complaint against the filmmaker.
The incident took place on Friday night near Yavat village on Pune-Solapur highway following which police registered a non-cognisable offence against Manjrekar, an official from Yavat police station said.
