July 5, 2021 ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan and Iranian President-elect Sayyid Ebrahim Raisi Sunday emphasized the need for continuing to facilitate an Afghan-led and Afghan-owned inclusive political settlement. According to the Prime Minister’s Office, Imran called up Raisi and congratulated him on his victory in the presidential elections. He told Raisi that his election manifested the Iranian people’s trust in his leadership. Imran also thanked Iran for its steadfast support on the Jammu and Kashmir issue. The two leaders expressed satisfaction over the upward trajectory of bilateral relations and agreed on further boosting the existing cooperation, in particular in its economic dimension.

Dr Moeed Yusuf said this while addressing a joint press conference along with Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry and Inspector General of Police Punjab, Inam Ghani here on Sunday. Dr Moeed said the mastermind and handlers of the blast have been identified through forensic analysis of the electronic equipment recovered from the terrorists involved in the incident. He said, “We have absolutely no doubt that the main mastermind of the blast is an Indian national, who belongs to the Indian intelligence agency RAW.”

Pakistan has proof of Indian role in Lahore blast: NSA - Newspaper

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan said on Sunday it had “concrete evidence” about the involvement of India in the last month’s Johar Town blast in Lahore as Prime Minister Imran Khan asked the international community to act against New Delhi for its “rogue behaviour”. Addressing a joint news conference with federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry and Inspector General of Police (IGP), Punjab, Inam Ghani, National Security Adviser (NSA) Dr Moeed Yusuf disclosed that the investigations carried out by the country’s security and intelligence agencies had found “undoubted and concrete” evidence and linkages of the terrorist attack to India. The NSA said the forensic analysis of the equipment, including telephones, used in the blast showed the main mastermind and all handlers had links to India. He said all local handlers had been arrested.
