ISLAMABAD: Amidst a possible threat of another attempt by India to conduct a surgical strike inside Pakistan’s territory, Pakistan Army has been put on high alert, informed sources told
Dawn on Wednesday.
They said that after facing humiliating defeat in Ladakh and Doklam, India was preparing to launch another attack on the Line of Control (LoC) and across the Working Boundary at Pulwama, posing a threat to the regional peace and stability.
Meanwhile, Indian forces initiated ceasefire violations later in the day, martyring two Pakistan Army soldiers and injuring a civilian woman in different areas of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, officials said.

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Mushaal Hussein Mullick, Chairperson Peace and Culture Organization, has said that Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) has been turned into the ‘world largest tortured cell’ but the countries being called as torchbearers of human rights don’t have the courage to speak a word against India for committing the history worst human rights violations in the valley.
The Chairperson, in her video message on the International Human Rights Day observed globally on Thursday, said that the brutal forces crossed all limits of brutalities, tyrannies, and inhuman acts to muzzle the voices of the freedom fighters.

ISLAMABAD: In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred two Kashmiri youth in Pulwama district on early Wednesday. According to Kashmir Media Service, the youth were killed by the Indian troops during a cordon and search operation (CASO) in Tiken area. One person was also injured. Meanwhile, an elderly man was deliberately hit by a vehicle of the Indian Army in Malpora area of Kulgam district.

UNITED NATIONS: Pakistan Mission to the United Nations Tuesday marked the International Day of Victims of Genocide by highlighting India’s mass atrocities in occupied Kashmir, with a call on the world community to take steps to stop New Delhi’s state terrorism and war crimes in the disputed territory.
“We urge the international community to stop impending genocide and ethnic cleansing in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) which is aimed at converting the Muslim majority in IIOJK into a minority,” the mission said on its twitter account.
