DailyBasket vs BigBasket: Coimbatore-based grocery startup responds to Tata BigBasket s lawsuit | Marketing

Screenshot of dailybasket.com (left) and BigBasket DailyBasket, a Coimbatore-based grocery startup has responded to Tata BigBasket s cease and desist letter in a non-legal way.    According to DailyBasket, Tata Group, that recently acquired BigBasket wants the former to stop using the domain name dailybasket.com, discontinue its mobile app and stop all operations, transfer the domain name (dailybasket.com), pay Rs 2 lakh to cover the legal notice cost, and not use the domain containing the word basket in the future.      Dailybasket has chosen this route because it claims that it doesn t have the power and money BigBasket possesses and instead wants to fight them in public.

According to P&G, it has educated more than 4 crore girls in India on menstrual hygiene till date and will educate more than 2.5 crore adolescent girls, on puberty and hygiene over the next three years.   The company aims to continue to invest in women-owned businesses, after the commitment it made in 2018. P&G claims to have spent more than ₹200 crore ($30 million) with women-owned businesses in India. It aims to spend ₹300 crore by working with women-owned businesses in India over the next three years.
