NEW DELHI: India on Saturday reported 42,766 daily new Covid-19 cases in last 24 hours, pushing the country s total tally to 30,795,716, according to data from the Union health ministry at 9am. After witnessing a slight dip for two days, the daily new cases are again hovering above 40,000 mark. On July 6, the country reported 34,703 new Covid cases, the lowest in 111 days. With 1,206 more people losing their lives due to Covid in past 24 hours, the death toll has climbed to 40,7145.Of the 1,206 fatalities, Maharashtra reported the highest number of deaths (738), followed by Kerala (130) and Karantaka (68). The recovery rate has further increased to 92.70%. In the last 24 hours, as many as 45, 254 patients were discharged. The active caseload has declined to 4,55,033, constituting merely 1.48% of total infections, according to health ministry.

Image Source: IANS News New Delhi, July 10 : India recorded 42,766 new Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours and 1,206 deaths, said the Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry on Saturday. This is the 32nd consecutive day when India reported less than one lakh new coronavirus cases. The active cases have now come down below 5 lakh. The country has 4,55,033 active cases presently and has witnessed a total of 4,07,145 deaths so far. According to the Union Health Ministry, a total of 45,254 people have been discharged in the last 24 hours, taking the total discharge to 2,99,33,538 till date.
