Dr Jitendra apprises Lok Sabha of India s rising Nuclear capacity

NEW DELHI: Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), MoS PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, Dr Jitendra Singh today apprised the Lok Sabha of India’s rising Nuclear capacity. In reply to a question, he informed that India currently has 23 Nuclear Reactors which are operational. The Minister’s reply further elaborated that there are presently 22 reactors with a total capacity of 6780 MW in operation and one reactor, KAPP-3 (700 MW) has been connected to the grid on January 10, 2021. In addition, there are 8 reactors (including 500 MW PFBR being implemented by BHAVINI) totaling to 6000 MW under construction at various stages.

And you know, that’s certainly what we would express,” Psaki said on Monday. “But certainly we would, you know, condemn that desecration and watch it closely.” Asked by a reporter about Biden’s thoughts on the attack, she said: “If there’s more to share on the President’s point of view on it, I’m happy to get back to you on that.”

Last week saw the Italian envoy to India, Vincenzo de Luca inaugurating the Festival of Italian Culture in India. The mega festival of Italian culture in India was opened in the presence of the Indian Minister of Foreign Affairs S Jaishankar and the Director-General of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, Dinesh K Patnaik. The event was hosted at the Italian embassy in Delhi. The event which followed all the COVID-19 protocol was the first such physical event hosted by the embassy since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.

With 250 cartoons from 39 countries, international cartoon exhibition on road safety held in Jammu Jammu : To spread awareness on traffic rules, a three day International Cartoon Exhibition on Road Safety has been organised in Jammu with 250 cartoons from 39 countries under the aegis of an eminent international cartoonist. A total of 150 artists took part in the exhibition. It was organised by Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) at Kala Kendra. “A total of four people are dying daily due to road accidents in Jammu and more than 30 people are getting injured due to the accidents Jammu and Kashmir. It’s a trauma and economic loss to the family, society, and nation,” N K Shil Regional Director of ICCR J&K and Ladakh said.
