Patna: As Corona positive cases rose to an alarming level in eight districts in Bihar, Chief minister, Nitish Kumar on Tuesday directed the officials to take preventive measures as large-scale reverse migration from the Corona affected states would take place.
Patna High Court was also hit by Coronavirus on Tuesday. Patna High Court which had re-opened on Monday after Holi vacations was shut down within 24 hours as many lawyers complained of corona attack. Chief Justice of Patna High Court, Justice Sanjay Karol,who was found Corona positive was rushed to AIIMS here and admitted in emergency ward.

Four persons, including three civil defence volunteers, sustained injuries when a quarrel broke out between them and commuters near the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in south Delhi on Monday.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Atul Thakur said that two cases, based on the complaint from both sides, have been registered at the Hauz Khas police station. The police said that a PCR call was received around 3 p.m. regarding a quarrel at the red light signal near IIT-Delhi gate.

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has appointed HOSMAC, Asia’s leading healthcare management and planning consultancy, to design the School of Medical Research and Technology (SMRT).
SMRT, situated in the IIT Kanpur campus, will be a full-fledged Medical School comprising of Centres of Excellence (CoE) and a first-of-a-kind Super-Specialty Teaching Hospital.
Combining medicine with engineering and encouraging cross-disciplinary learning, SMRT will provide an ecosystem that promotes the development of technology-based interventions for diagnosis, surveillance, management, mitigation, and prevention of diseases.

As many as 18 students at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Patna, located on the outskirts of the city in the Bihta sub-town, tested positive for COVID-19 even as the second wave is spreading at a rapid pace in Bihar with the state reporting 935 new cases across 38 districts in the last 24 hours. Patna alone accounted for 432 cases.
