In a unique move, Air India and the India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), have signed a pact under which the ITDC will conduct training programs for executives and cabin crew of the national carrier.
Top brass from both of the organizations – one from the civil aviation sector and other from the tourism ministry – were present at the signing ceremony.
The objective of the training programs are to upgrade the skills and knowledge base of airlines senior executives and the cabin crew in hospitality and service industry.
An initial 5-day course was already conducted on July 11.
