Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) had declared Thursday, June 17th as a Ozone Air Quality Action Day in southwestern Indiana. IDEM asks kids, older adults, and those with respiratory diseases to limit physical exertion outdoors. According to IDEM, AQAD days include ground level ozone pollution building up to unhealthy levels in the outdoor air. Tips that IDEM have to fight high levels of pollution in air include: -Carpool, walk, bike, or use public transportation
