DEFERIET, N.Y. (WWNY) - Sean Joseph Brown, 53, died Thursday, December 17th during an accidental garage fire at his home in Deferiet, NY. Born on March 7, 1967 in Wilmington, DE, Sean is survived by his mother Terry Woodall, sisters Denice and Maureen, brother Kevin, stepmother Margaret Brown, and stepsiblings: Terry, Chuck, and Valerie. Sean is preceded in death by his father T. Vincent Brown and brother Vincent. Sean graduated from Avon Grove High School, West Grove, PA and attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

INDIANA, Pa. A Warren County student at Indiana University of Pennsylvania was part of an innovative art project for an office within IUP’s Division of Student Affairs.
Kaycee Morgan, a studio art major (drawing focus) from Warren, was part of a student team of artists that created a mural for the Indiana University of Pennsylvania Office of Student Support and Community Standards (formerly the Office of Student Conduct).
INDIANA, Pa. â Two senior studio art majors at Indiana University of Pennsylvania were chosen as the recipients of the 2020 Art in the Arboretum competition, designed to provide student artists with an opportunity to create art for IUPâs Allegheny Arboretum.
David Salinas, from Zelienople, and Katie West, from Pittsburgh, created a design called âBirds of a Tree,â which was chosen by the Art in the Arboretum Selection Committee as the winning proposal. Both were students in Sean Derryâs public art class, which works with the Art in the Arboretum project.
Established in 2000, the Allegheny Arboretum encompasses the entire 374 acres of the IUP campus, including a 150-acre woodland. In 2005, the Allegheny Arboretum officially became part of the university. It is overseen by the Allegheny Arboretum Board, which provides guidance in meeting the arboretumâs goals and objectives.
