MERRILLVILLEÂ â New developments coming to town represent more than $70 million in investments and hundreds of job opportunities.
One of the most significant is a $50.3 million project to create a Dominoâs Pizza supply chain center in the AmeriPlex at the Crossroads business park.
Dominoâs plans to create up to 140 new jobs by the end of 2023 for the supply chain center, which will have a main purpose of producing fresh dough balls.
âIndiana is the ideal location for companies looking to expand their supply chains because of our central location, infrastructure investments and hardworking Hoosier workforce, which together create a recipe for job creation and growth,â Gov. Eric Holcomb said. âIâm so thankful this new Dominoâs facility will not only create quality career opportunities for Hoosiers in northwest Indiana, but will also help provide countless families with a slice of happiness across the Midwest.â

MUNCIE – A Polish aluminum beverage can manufacturer will build a plant in Muncie, creating at least 345 jobs by the end of 2023, the company and the state announced Tuesday.
The $380 million Muncie plant will be the second in the U.S. for Krakow-based Canpack, the company said. The project could expand to 425 jobs and $490 million by 2025, the company said.
Construction of the 862,000-square-foot plant is expected to begin in mid-2021, with operations starting in the fourth quarter of 2022, Canpack said.
It will begin hiring for skilled and semi-skilled manufacturing and plant management positions in mid-2022.
