New Delhi, Dec 17: Members of the Trust formed for its construction said that the blueprint of the mosque to replace the Babri Masjid is all set to be unveiled on this Saturday and its foundation laid on Republic Day on the five-acre land allotted for it. The Trust chose January 26, 2021 for laying the foundation stone of the Ayodhya mosque as on this day our Constitution came into effect over seven decades ago. Our Constitution is based on pluralism, which is the leitmotif of our mosque project, said Athar Hussain, secretary of the Indo-Islamic Cultural Foundation (IICF).

AYODHYA, U.P: The Ayodhya mosque foundation stone of the great Mosque that will replace the Babri Masjid in Ayodhya is set to be laid on Republic Day, and its blueprint will be revealed to the public on Saturday, the 19th of December. Keeping up with the importance of Republic Day, Athar Hussain, Secretary of the Indo-Islamic Cultural Foundation (IICF) said The Trust chose January 26, 2021 for laying the foundation stone of the Ayodhya mosque as on this day our Constitution came into effect over seven decades ago. LUCKNOW: While the preparations comprising technical evaluations of the site and soil ahead of the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya are underway, the foundation of Ayodhya mosque complex is likely to be laid on January 26, next year.
The foundation of the mosque would be laid on five acres land allotted to UP Sunni Central Waqf Board mandated by UP government at Dhannipur village under Suhelwa tehsil in Ayodhya district. The upcoming mosque is around 20 km away from the Ram Janmabhoomi premises.
As per highly-placed sources, the mosque trust, better known Indo-Islamic Cultural Foundation (IICF) – is set to unveil the blueprint for the proposed mosque and other constructions on December 19. The blueprint of the mosque and other facilities, including multi-speciality hospital, community kitchen and library has been finalized by mosque’s chief architect Professor SM Akhtar.
