ORIGINAL | A woman has been killed and another seriously injured following a stabbing at Inverell this morning. Emergency services were called to Glen Innes Road, near Moore Street, just after 2am. A woman, believed to be in her 50s, suffered critical stab wounds and died at the scene. A second woman, believed to be in her 20s, was rushed to Inverell Hospital in a serious but stable condition. Man dies in hospital after crash at Inverell

Date Time Man dies in hospital after crash at Inverell A motorcycle rider has died in hospital following a crash with a vehicle in the state’s north last week. About 9.30pm on Thursday (13 May 2021), emergency services were called to the intersection of Urabatta Street and Bannockburn Road, Inverell, following reports a motorcycle and Mitsubishi Pajero had collided. The rider, a 20-year-old man, was ejected and suffered critical head, hip and leg injuries. He was taken to Inverell Hospital by NSW Ambulance paramedics, before being flown to Gold Coast Hospital in a critical condition. The occupants of the Pajero – the 51-year-old male driver and a 21-year-old man – were not injured.
