There are less than six months to go before enforcement of REAL ID requirements for certain things like domestic air travel and getting into federal buildings goes into effect.
Beginning Oct. 1, 2021, drivers licenses and state IDs that are not REAL ID-compliant will not be accepted as identification by federal authorities.

Delaware continues to see a surge in coronavirus cases.
The Saturday report from the Delaware Division of Public Health showed more than 400 new coronavirus cases during and after family get-togethers around the spring holidays. The state is also seeing increased travel and new variants of the virus.
The average number of cases had posted a decline in recent days.

A review of Vital Statistics records from February and January determined the deaths were due to Covid-19 complications and involved four individuals from New Castle County who ranged in age from their 50s to their 90s. Two were residents of long-term care facilities. The deaths increased Delaware’s total number of Covid-related deaths to 1,577.
