Man found collapsed in street after leaving hospital following earlier assault A man was found collapsed in the street after he left hospital following an assault five hours earlier. Police were called by the ambulance service shortly after 10pm on Saturday after a man was found unconscious with head injuries outside the Atlas takeaway on St David’s Road South in St Annes. He was taken to Blackpool Victoria Hospital but later left and was subsequently found by a member of the public at about 3am on Sunday close to a petrol station on Talbot Road in Blackpool. He was taken back to hospital where he remains seriously ill.
