Concerns have been raised after large crowds of people were seen gathering in Sefton Park today. Images and videos on social media show a huge gathering of people in the south Liverpool park, with little evidence of social distancing taking place.
Numerous reports suggest many of those attending were celebrating St Patrick s Day.
Under current government covid-19 rules, people are allowed to meet one person from outside their household for a coffee or picnic in outdoor spaces like parks.
