KUALA LUMPUR: Leave for policemen has been frozen to ensure maximum strength while enforcing the movement control order, the nation’s top cop said.
“Leave has been frozen unless it is an emergency. This is so that we have maximum strength to enforce the MCO and its SOPs, ” said Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Abdul Hamid Bador (
pic) at a press conference at Bukit Aman on Tuesday (Jan 12).
On roadblocks that would be enforced from Wednesday (Jan 13), he said that at least 300 will be enforced at the start, with the possibility of more.
“The road blocks will be focused at exit tolls and state borders.
