Star Citizen Releases The Underground Infamy Update Star Citizen Releases The Underground Infamy Update Posted on Cloud Imperium Games has released a new patch to the Star Citizen Alpha as players can now try out the Underground Infamy Update. The 3.134 update comes with a bunch of new content for the game which includes such interesting features as ship-to-ship docking, a reputation manager that tracks your alignment with NPC mission givers and factions, a bunch of gigantic caves, a slew of new missions, and two brand new vehicles. Star Citizen crowd-funding breezes past $350 million from over three million backers

The behemoth Star Citizen project of Cloud Imperium Games has hit another crowd-funding milestone. The total reached the impressive $350 million mark today. The in-development space trading and combat sim went past $300 million in June of 2020, meaning it made its latest $50 million in just nine months. During that time, Star Citizen has flown through three major alpha updates: 3.10, 3.11, and 3.12. Combined, these have brought in features such as a new atmospheric flight model, further upgrades to planet visuals, inventory and storage system overhaul, as well as physical reactions for G-forces and weather elements on characters. The most recent update carried the first server-wide dynamic event and a hand-held tractor beam among its many additions.
