The 2021 annual meeting in Nashville will not be one of those. With just a few weeks left until official nominations are made, multiple nominees have been announced for various SBC-related offices. So far, there are four announced candidates for SBC president, five for vice president roles, and one each for recording secretary and registration secretary. The pastor said the proposed resolution seeks to “provide leadership with clarity, compassion, and conviction” in addressing critical race theory and intersectionality.
