2 months ago in Local Photo: Saga Communications 2/10/21 The Salvation Army is teaming up with Schewels Home to help stock up on much-needed diapers and infant care items. From now through the end of April, a portion of every mattress sold during their “Dollars for Diapers” event will generate funds for diapers and other infant care items to be distributed by The Salvation Army. Ashley Gordon-Becker with the Salvation Army of Harrisonburg said on the Mike Schikman Show yesterday that there is a big need for these kinds of items. Becker also said folks can go into the store and a crib is set up so folks can donate any item that may be needed by an infant or toddler.
