December 21, 2020 181 Despite facing fundraising difficulties this year due to the pandemic, the Torrington Lions Club was determined to continue their support of charities they have dontated to for many years.  While the monetary donations were not as large as they have been in the past, the club still managed to donate over $800 and combine that with toys and food that will be distributed to the charities. Lion Phil Dzurnak and Lion Norm NeJaime along with three firemen in front of the tree with the presents. Contributed The Fire Department received donations from the Club which will be distributed to Friendly Hands, FISH and other local organizations.  The Salvation Arm received over $200 worth of various items including toys and a turkey.
