BAGHDAD, Jan. 28 (Xinhua) Jordanian Prime Minister Bisher al-Khasawneh arrived on Thursday in Iraq s capital Baghdad and held talks with top Iraqi leaders to boost bilateral relations and cooperation in various fields.
A statement by the media office of Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi said al-Kadhimi held a meeting with Al-Khasawneh over cooperation between the two countries to boost bilateral relations.
In a joint statement issued after a series of meetings, the two sides highlighted the importance of continuing to enhance coordination and make full use of the capabilities available in both countries in all economic, investment, and trade fields.

Iraq has agreed to reactivate a memorandum of understanding with Jordan stipulating the sale of ten thousand barrels of Iraqi crude oil per day at preferential prices, according to a statement issued by the prime minister s office.
