Nearly half of the Army’s female soldiers have failed the Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT), while only a tiny fraction of their male counterparts fell short of the military standards, a Monday report shows.
The Internal Army figures from April indicate that 44% of women failed the ACFT since its introduction in October 2020, Military.com reported. Conversely, only 7% of male soldiers have not passed the test.
Women aren’t even achieving a good score. Only 66 women scored above 500 points (a really good score), compared to 31,978 men. an average score for women is 389.
This is a new test (see below).
It sounds like women are deficits on the battlefield and should be removed unless they can pass the test.

Moby Auxiliary Gym, April 3, 2021 CSU’s Army ROTC cadets were put to the test as part of a pioneering study with the Department of Health and Exercise Science to determine the best training regimen for the proposed new Army Combat Fitness Test, which involves a battery of deadlifts, farmer’s carries, sled pulls and much more.
Two-Mile Run: 22%
The pass rate for women is up 12% from last year, yet enlisted women continue to struggle the most, with a 53% fail rate. Female officers have only a 23% fail rate, but that s still significantly higher than the fail rate for men, enlisted or officer.
The data attributed most of that progress to a change in late March that added a two-minute plank as an alternative to leg tucks. FORSCOM found 22% of women failed the plank, a substantial decrease from the average 41% fail rate for the leg tuck. The pass rate for men went up by 1%.
Average Scores (360 needed to pass, 600 is the max)
