Today’s Star Spangled Salute honors Army Veteran Larry Abrams. Larry’s life in the military led him to realize he wanted to be one thing in his civilian life, a police officer. However, he realized that life in the military as a police officer and civilian life would be much different. After his service he fell on hard times and seperated from his wife. He was almost homeless, but thanks to the organization Quad Vets, he is back on his feet, has a job as a receptionist and has patched things up with his family. However, he still needs a ride to get back and forth to his new job. That’s where Racin’ 4 Vets came in and gifted him a car that belonged to Marine and Army Veteran Dylan Achord who came back from deployment in Israel with PTSD, 2 years later passing away.
